Herbs, fruits and spices have been used to flavour cheese for hundreds of years and Isle of Kintyre flavour-blended cheddars were amongst the first on the market.  All of The Inverloch Cheese Co cheeses are of the highest quality, made with pasteurised milk and only the finest ingredients.  Many of them have won multiple major awards, and they are GM free and vegetarian.  This mature cheddar is a superior cheese combined with mellow flavours of Springbank 10 year aged whisky.  The Mitchells distillery is the oldest independent family-owned distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland, once proclaimed "whisky capital of the world".  The single malt spirit brings a delicate oak, spice, nutmeg and cinnamon to the cheddar, which is a relaxed, all too easy to eat luxury.  Delicious when eaten alone, with crackers or oatcakes, or as part of a delightful meal, it is guaranteed to deliver a taste sensation.
