delice de bourgogne


This cow's milk triple-cream cheese boasts a high fat content (75%) due to the addition of cream during the cheese-making process.  It has a gooey and smooth texture, offering a luxurious and velvety mouth feel.  With a rich, buttery flavour and strong aromas of mushroom, Délice de Bourgogne is covered with a snowy-white, edible, pillowy and bloomy rind; the interior is pale ivory, and it is not aged extensively.  Pairs well with crusty bread, baguette, fresh fruits, Champagne and Chablis.
